Elaine Feraru, MD
Dr. Feraru received her BA degree, Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Psychology from Barnard College in New York, NY. Her medical degree was awarded by George Washington University. Dr. Feraru completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY and received her residency training in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, also in Bronx. Dr. Feraru completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG and epilepsy) at The Children’s Hospital Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She is certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also certified in the interpretation of CT and MRI by the American Society of Neuroimaging. Dr. Ferraru’s specialty areas include headache, seizures and the neurological complications of AIDS.
