Rafaela Aguiar, MD
          Dr. Rafaela M. Aguiar completed her undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT and received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut Medical School in Farmington, CT. Dr. Aguiar completed the Moses Cone Family Practice Residency Program in Greensboro where she was given the resident of the year award twice. Dr. Aguiar is also board certified in Family Practice.

Michael Kalish, MD
          Dr. Michael J. Kalish completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dallas and received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. His residency training was completed at Moses H. Cone Hospital where he served as Chief Resident and was given the resident of the year award. Since completing his residency, Dr. Kalish has worked as an Emergency Room physician at Greensboro Hospital, where he also served as director of Emergency Services for a year and a half. Dr. Kalish is board certified in Family Practice and was the founder of Deep River Family Medicine, established as a solo practice in 1990.

Samuel Kelly, MD
          Dr. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL. He earned his medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL and completed his Family Practice residency training at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Dr. Kelly is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Medical Examiners. Before joining Cornerstone HealthCare, Dr. Kelly served as the Medical Director of Family Practice in the 78th Medical Group at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Danielle Carter-Adkins, PAC
          Certified Physician Assistant Danielle Carter-Adkins earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She completed the Physician Assistant Certification program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Ms. Carter-Adkins is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.

Virginia Fulbright, PAC
          Certified Physician Assistant Virginia Fulbright comes to Cornerstone from Urgent Medical and Family Care in Greensboro where she served as a physician assistant for almost twenty years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with honors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed the Bowman Gray School of Medicine Physician Assistant Certification Program and is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants.
