Bruce Portner, MD
Dr. Portner received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York in Brooklyn and was awarded his medical degree with honors by Ross University of Medicine in Edison, NJ. Dr. Portner completed a pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital New York Medical College in Mineola and at the New York University Medical Center-Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. He served an internal medicine residency at Kings County Medical Center of the State University of New York. During his career, Dr. Portner has treated patients in private practice and as medical director of clinics and long-term care facilities.

Robert A. Rostand, MD
Dr. Rostand received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and his medical degree from Tufts University. His residency training was received from St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Rostand is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.

Grace E. Terrell, MD
Dr. Terrell completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her medical degree at Duke University. Her residency training was received from Duke and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. She has completed a Master's in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr Terrell is President of Cornerstone Health Care.

Racquel Tonuzi, MD
Dr. Tonuzi practices four days a week with Cornerstone Medical Associates, and one-half day a week with Cornerstone Pediatrics at their home office in the High Point Medical Center. Dr. Tonuzi comes to High Point from the State University of New York at Buffalo where she served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Pediatrics. In addition to her teaching position, Dr. Tonuzi was Assistant Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Dr. Tonuzi was awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree by Cornell University School of Arts and Sciences in Ithaca, NY. She completed a Semester Abroad in the Kenya Upcountry/Uganda Program through the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. She earned her medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Science in Buffalo, NY, where she also served a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency with the Graduate Medical and Dental Education Consortium and was Site Coordinator for Osteopathic Medical Students Externships. Dr. Tonuzi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Susan M. Payne, NP
Susie holds BS and MS degrees in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been an RN since 1980. Ms Payne served on the nursing staff of High Point Regional Health Systems since 1980. Ms. Payne is a certified Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner. In addition to treating patients at Cornerstone Medical Associates, Susan works with Dr Grace Terrell, seeing patients each day at Sunbridge Nursing Center.

Mary Lou received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Nursing from UNC-Greensboro. She holds memberships in the North Carolina Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and is licensed by the NC Board of Nursing and the North Carolina Medical Board.

Glenda has more than 20 years of clinical nursing experience in the High Point area. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Glenda is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
