Cornerstone Imaging Services
Cornerstone Health Care provides a comprehensive menu of imaging services from five conveniently
located diagnostic facilities. The facility to which you will be referred will depend upon the type
of screening or diagnostic imaging that your physician has prescribed for you. Be assured
that wherever you are directed for your imaging services, you will be treated with the same
quality of care and compassion that you receive from your own Cornerstone physician.

Standards of Care
Each member of our professional medical staff is certified within their specific area of testing.
They all have extensive experience in patient care. Each piece of diagnostic equipment we utilize is
maintained to the most stringent industry standards.
Our staff prides itself on an immediate turnaround of testing results to the referring
physician. Once they have this information in hand, your physician will determine the next
step in your treatment based upon a comprehensive review of the test results. Your physician
will contact you promptly, once he or she has had sufficient time to make their diagnosis
and develop your treatment plan.
Billing and Insurance
Our office is a participating provider with most major health insurance plans. Our office
staff will be able to tell you if your plan is on the list of plans accepted by Cornerstone
Imaging Services. If your primary insurance is Medicare, please be aware that some secondary
insurance policies do not cover your deductible. We recommend that you contact your
insurance company to verify the extent of your coverage regarding imaging services, the
amount of any copayments you may need to make, and any prior authorization requirements
that may be necessary. Please contact Cornerstone Financial Services, Cornerstone's fully
integrated business service at 802-2000 with any other billing or insurance questions you
may have.
Appointments
To help us maintain our timely schedule, and as a courtesy to our other patients, we ask
that you advise us if you will be late or unable to make your appointment. Most testing
procedures require a strict adherence to a specific schedule based upon the preliminary
requirements of fasting, or ingesting certain substances to facilitate the test. Even if
a patient is just a few minutes late, the test may need to be rescheduled. If you must
cancel, we request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice so that we may give
your appointment to another patient.
Our Commitment to Your Comfort
We know that you may have some questions about your tests. We find that most patients
become much more relaxed about the testing procedure when they are able to discuss the
procedure with a medical professional. Please do not hesitate to call us and we will be sure
to answer any questions you may have about preparing for the test, or what to expect during
and after the procedure.
