What is Cornerstone Urgent Care?
Cornerstone Urgent Care is a walk-in medical practice for the diagnosis and treatment of
a wide range of minor emergencies, acute illnesses and injuries. No appointment is necessary.
Cornerstone Urgent Care services are available from two locations for the convenience of
our patients. Cornerstone Urgent Care at the Medical Center is open on the weekends --
Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The downtown
location provides a quicker and less expensive alternative to the ER for those patients
who are referred by their primary care Cornerstone physician.
Cornerstone Urgent Care at Piedmont Centre is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.
to 8:00 p.m. to serve the weekday needs of newcomers to the area, or those patients who
prefer the service of an Urgent Care facility. A wide range of occupational health services
are provided from the Cornerstone Urgent Care at Piedmont Centre location for the
convenience of local businesses and their employees.
Cornerstone Urgent Care participates with most major health insurance plans, and accepts credit
card payment.

infections, hypertension, injuries, diabetes, abdominal pain, other non-life
threatening medical problems requiring immediate attention
Cornerstone Urgent Care provides X-ray, laboratory, EKG and oxygen and intravenous technology
to our patients.
Occupational Medical Services
Cornerstone Urgent Care is a valuable resource for businesses seeking cost-effective, quality
health care services. Cornerstone Urgent Care at Piedmont Center is open during the business
day with no appointments necessary. Our objective is to provide immediate comprehensive care,
allowing employees to return to their jobs as quickly as possible.
We provide individualized insurance billing formats, and prompt processing of all forms in
compliance with all insurance carrier requirements. Our experience with the management of workers
compensation cases can result in significant savings. All claims are closely monitored to
ensure that costs are in line with treatment.
Cornerstone Urgent Care provides immediate and thorough treatment of job-related injuries and
illness, comprehensive employee screenings including pre-employment and D.O.T. physicals,
follow-up care and return to work evaluation. Cornerstone Urgent Care's drug screening program
is an excellent tool for decreasing substance abuse in the workplace. Corporate wellness programs
include preventive medicine, cardiac evaluations, fitness counseling and weight control programs.
